Dr. Ben Carson may be a neurosurgeon, but he is definitely a poor history buff.
During a speech at his homecoming as Secretary of Housing & Urban Development on Monday (March 6), Carson said in one part that slaves traveling to America (or, at the time, the 13 colonies that make up this country) (and also known as our ancestors) were immigrants.
Nigga, please.
Our ancestors were not immigrants. That would imply they had a choice to come to this country. ...they didn't. They were brutally ripped away from their homes and families in Africa by lazy evil white men to do their work in America (and not for the greater good and unity of the world). They had no choice, they had no freedom, nothing to bring with them and they had no idea that what they would go through would disgustingly destroy their lives, taint the history of our people and damage the starting fabric of our nation's history forever. You came up with everything in a silver platter; while they came with and died with nothing. And the words you said in this speech up to this point will not change a damn thing.
Also in your comments, you said that slaves worked for less.
Yeah...that's also not true.
Our ancestors, the Slaves, never worked for less (let's not be generous). They did work...for NOTHING. They were treated worse than dirt, the women were raped by Massa for no good reason, beaten even for the tiniest offense, were treated as property by their owners (who in case you try to ignore or change it, were white), chained in shackles and cuffs for most of their days, and were sold to other owners like they were material possessions. If you think them having clothes to wear while working and having food to eat was considered "less", you're a goddamn idiot. But hey, they had a free boat ride to America, so I guess that counts as good to you, right?

It's clear that you made most of your brain space for neurology. Because you clearly don't know what you're talking about in our history. And yet, you're now the secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Get all the fuck out of here with that bullshit. They were happy where they belonged; in their homes whey were born and raised with their families. You're a motherfucking idiot if you think our ancestor had it made when their lives as slaves brought them to a better life from their homeland, when life in their homeland was a million times better than what they came into!!
Someone needs to show you an African American history book (and not ones from the Southern states taking off a chapter every year) and actually read it, or sit you down and watch Roots or Underground to brush up your knowledge. Because if you are Secy or HUD, you need to actually learn the flight of our ancestors to understand what you're doing.

There will be no time you will do that. Our history will stay the same and will stay what it is, whether you like or not, or whether you foolishly don't care or not. I'm tired of seeing the white man (especially from Red states) changing history to make his stat look better; it will not and won't change you or your state for the better. Ladies and gentlemen, this was his first day as HUD Secretary. And it will only go downhill from there. Carson, you are a coon if I've ever heard of one. You've been around too many rich, foolish white people to make sense anymore. Just do your job (as if you even know how to do that) and stop talking nonsense as if you care and other people enjoy this nonsense. Although you having this besides being black is nonsense.
