Hi guys. The Maroon Marauder is here. (You know what, let's not call me that)
Anyway, Beyonce is back with a new single. You may have heard of it; if not, GOOD. Here's why; the song is called "Bow Down", and in it, she talks about being on top of the world of music and that those beneath her...well...bow down, because she's the queen and all of you are her bitch, which is actually in the chorus. I first heard the song on BuzzFeed while reading about the makings of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, saw this pic of some girl that looks like her, read everything, and clicked on the link. And I couldn't believe what I heard. Here is the song; listen for yourself.
I was very surprised to hear Beyonce sing something like this. I never heard her say "bitch" or "shit" before. And I never heard a Beyonce song about her being better than others and that they want what she has. She was always about female empowerment and showed that in her music. Now she's doing a complete turn-around and releases this shit. Yes, that's right, I typed it. It's shit. The beat is horribly annoying, the baby voice makes me want to bang head against a wall, and hearing Beyonce say "Bow Down, Bitches!" makes my heart drop. I want to ask, "Why, Beyonce? Why release a song like this?". Maybe she wants to change her image without being stale. Maybe she wants to a female Jay-Z. I know. Maybe she's doing this to piss off fans, garner attention for her next album and get a one-way ticket to perform at this year's BET Awards. I don't know But the thing is I hate it. I really hate it. It didn't deserve to be released as a promotional single. Sounds like an interlude, so it should be on the album as one. I do not want to hear it again. And if I do...well, shame on me, it will happen anyway. And don't get me started on "I Put On"
See you guys later. (And you probably can can call me The Maroon Marauder if you want. It'll prove I actually have people reading this blog.)

New Parents Killed in Car Crash; Baby SURVIVES; Bitch Culprit Bolts
Hi again all. Andrew wants to tell you something sad and heart-breaking. Kind of like A Dose of Buckley, but in this case, there is a very happy ending. A married couple were to have a baby when they were killed in a car accident; their baby, however, survived.
It took place in Brooklyn, New York. A young married Jewish couple, Nathan and Raizi Glauber, (who are both 21, and expecting a baby) were excited to have a family; The expectant mother was seven months pregnant. They were on their way to a hospital when they got into a car accident with another car. New York Police say the Glaubers were riding in the back of a 2008 Toyota Camry livery cab heading west on Wilson Street when they collided with a 2010 gray BMW Sedan heading north on Kent Avenue. The pregnant Raizi was thrown from the taxi and landed under a nearby parked tractor trailer. She was rushed to Bellevue where doctors performed an emergency c-section on the dying mother and were able to deliver a healthy premature baby boy. Nathan, the father, died at Beth Israel hospital at roughly the same time. The driver of the BMW along with a passenger abandoned the car and ran away from the collision. Police have questioned the registered owner of the car who was not at the scene and is cooperating with police. At this afternoon’s funeral, relatives said the newborn boy will be named after his late father and will be raised by loving relatives. “We’re all going to be there for him.” The driver of the livery can had just minor injuries. Police don’t know which car was at fault. The livery car driver had a stop sign; The BMW did not. The baby is currently in serious condition, but is doing fine.
Now here's my opinion on this horrible tragedy:
When I first heard this story while watching a live news feed from a New York City TV station, my heart dropped so far that I nearly couldn't breathe. This is a beautiful married couple beginning to have a wonderful life and a very wonderful family. They were very excited for their first child and begin a great legacy. Unfortunately all of this is taken away in a day by a borderline idiot who had the nerve to get up and drive that day. It didn't matter is he/she was drunk or high or just careless, the fact that he/she had that audacity to get out of the car he/she drove, look at what happened and ran, made me want to shake my head and scream into the ceiling. To cause an accident on the road is one thing, but to cause an accident on the road and run away from it is even worse, and makes you look like a f*cking coward. To hear that someone took the lives of two people who just wed and are about to welcome their first child into the world, even if they're not related to you, really could make you vulnerable. I hope this dickheaded fool is caught (or gives himself/herself up), taken to prison, and spend the rest of his/her life behind bars. When I heard that the baby survived the c-section, I almost immediately said "Thank goodness" because seeing a baby born and grow is one of the most wonderful and lasting memories you'll ever have.Fortunately in this case, it will happen. Sadly, because of the accident, his parents will not be in his life. At least, with his relatives, he will be in good hands and will have a great life ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Update: UNfortunately, and sadly, in this case, it will not happen, as the baby died minutes later.
Please leave your thoughts about this story in the comments section.
Goodbye for now, and keep this newborn in your prayers. (And if you're not religious, in your thoughts.)
