7th Heaven Star Shockingly Revealed to Be a Sexual Predator

Here's something I never saw coming.
A star of 7th Heaven, one of the most wholesome, family-friendly shows of the 90s and 00s, revealed to have sexually abused a girl and exposing himself to two others years ago.

Stephen Collins, who played father and reverend Eric Camden on the legendary family drama, revealed in an audio recording obtained and released by TMZ, that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl sometime in 2012 and also flashed two other young girls at that time.
He revealed the shocking deeds to his now ex-wife Faye Grant, who secretly recorded the confession during a therapy session the couple had two years ago.

Here's the audio below:

Of course, this news blew up on social media, but an added depth of surprise and creepiness was added because this actor played a goddamn pastor on a family drama. Here are some of the responses from loyal fans of the show, some of which as actually funny:

(and a response)

This is a damn shame. An actor well-known as playing a reverend, a man of God, on a wholesome family drama--doing such a disgusting thing. This just really took me (and everyone else across the country) by surprise. Take away his TV character, and it's still the same. This is definitely below him (or anyone for that matter), and I definitely lost all respect for him after this.
