Maybe I'll call it Fun-May Friday! ...I guess.
I'm not putting this video in this post because it's funny. I'm putting it here because it's awesome. (although I don't blame you if you find it funny)
During another scary moment of the year, this week's Baltimore Riots, a mom did what every parent should do in situations like these: grab their dumbass child from the war-lines, smack some sense into him/her, and take him/her home, where there'll be more waiting for him/her.
But first the back-story:
Earlier in the day, Baltimore resident/parent Toya Graham was watching the ongoing riots in Charm City on TV. But her worst fears were confirmed before they were even raised. During the live broadcast of the riots, Ms. Graham catches her 16-year-old son in a clash against Police, throwing rocks at officers. After seeing her child in the fight of his life (and possibly his last), Ms. Graham has had enough and barges her way to where the boy was, down the street from their house, and in this video below, which has gone super viral, she gives him the response/discipline/ass-beating of his life. And the city, country and world was watching (over and over).
(If you look close, the look on the boy's face looked hilarious. It's like it looks like he'd say "Mom, what are you doing?? You embarrassing me in front of my boys!!" Man, he deserves to be embarrassed.)
This mom ROCKS! She knew her son was in trouble, and she did what any parent needed to do and she did it with no shame, no holding back, no getting off easy, and she took no shit from him. Good for her; she deserves all the praise from across the country for her bravery, discipline, her good nature...and just being a loving and caring mom.
